Dorset Coppice Group Open/Beanpole Day
Saturday 1 March 2014
The Dorset Coppice Group are holding their Open/Beanpole day this year to coincide with National Beanpole Week. This will be held at the Living Classroom, Bonsley Wood on Saturday 12th April 10am to 4pm.
National Beanpole Week encourages gardeners to use hazel beanpoles and pea sticks sourced locally instead of using imported goods. This helps local coppice workers and the biodiversity of native English woodlands. There will be bean poles and pea sticks available to purchase at our Open/Beanpole Day.
Members of the group will be plying their many different crafts and will have items for sale. Come and see our Living Classroom in action and enjoy the Woodland Walk where you will be able to see and smell the Bluebells and Wild Garlic.
Refreshments will be available.
Toilets (including disabled facilities) available.
