Hazel Coppice – It’s Restoration and Improvement

A conference is being organised by the NCFed that could have considerable significance for coppice workers throughout the country.  Its title will be:
Hazel Coppice  – its restoration and improvement:
      A two day National Coppice Federation seminar.  
       Westonbirt Arboretum,

      13/14 May, 2015
coppicing is a growing industry, but good quality hazel is scarce and hard to source.  We will be looking at the most effective, practical ways of restoring old as well as improving existing coppice, with reference to the restoration work going on in the Arboretum (some 25 acres) and on other sites around the country
