Educational Resources PDF Print E-mail
Dorset Coppice Group is developing a range of educational resources and activities for local schools.

This material will soon be made available through a new website - www.livingclassroom.org.uk - we are currently seeking funding for this and a range of new educational materials. The Living Classroom is in fact a tract of woodland just north west of Blandford. We are developing this site, and are already hosting events and open days there - check the News page for details. You can find directions to the Living Classroom here.

In the meantime, you can read more about the history of coppicing in Dorset and learn about typical woodland products.

You can also download background material on Coppicing in Dorset in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss how we might work with your school or organisation...
