The Course Taster day ran in 2009, was so popular it was fully booked well in advance.
This is an ideal opportunity to 'have a go' on the courses of your choice.
Again this proving to be very popular, and places are filling up fast!!!
So if you are considering attending the taster day, please book asap.

There is a wide selection of courses to choose from, and you can join in with any of the groups.  The sessions last approx 11/2 hours each, just long enough to give you an idea of what is involved with that craft. 
The selection of courses includes: Charcoal making, hurdle making, hedge laying, wood carving, furniture making, pole lathe turning, basket making and general coppicing.
It starts at 10.00am and runs until 4.30, to participate in the day which will involve choosing 4 sessions will cost £30.00.  If you would just like to come along and try 1 session, it costs £10 per individual session.
Booking is essential, as there is a limited number of places.  To book your place please contact the Dorset Coppice Group.
To confirm your place on the day a non - refundable cheque for the full amount is required.
