DESCRIPTION:\n 	This course is a half day introduction to the art of splitt
 ing (or riving) hazel.\n\nThe day's course will start with learning the ma
 gical art of splitting hazel. \nThe course will be run at The Living Clas
 sroom at Bonsley Wood but\, if we are lucky enough with the weather\, most
  of it will take place outside. All tools and materials will be supplied\,
  but please do wear appropriate clothing and sensible footwear.\nThe cours
 e will start at 10am and finish around 4pm. Tea\, coffee and biscuits will
  be supplied\, but please bring your own packed lunch. The cost is £55 f
 or non-members and £45 for members. There are limited places\, so please 
 book early.\nYour tutor for the day will be DCG's Chair\, David Ewers. Dav
 id is a full-time coppice &amp\; green woodworker and is one of only a few
  commercial hurdle makers still practising the art in Dorset.
