SUMMARY:Spoon Carving for Beginners
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to turn a piece of wood from a log into a beautiful a
 nd functional carved spoon.\n\nThis one day course is aimed at beginner sp
 oon carvers and will cover safe use of tools (axes &amp\; knives)\, differ
 ent types of carving techniques\, the qualities of different types of wood
  and more. All tools and wood will be provided.\n\n[caption id="attachment

 ayshaw[/caption]\n\nThe course is being run by Paul Brayshaw. Paul is a lo
 ng-standing Dorset Coppice Group member and you may well have met him &amp
 \; his wife Verity at numerous shows and events during the summer months. 
 Paul is friendly\, welcoming and patient - all the qualities that we look 
 for in our course tutors.\n\nFor safety &amp\; insurance reasons\, sadly t
 he course is limited to over 18's only.\n\nThe course is run at The Living
  Classroom at Bonsley Wood and directions can be found here. The Living Cl
 assroom has disabled access\, toilets and a ready supply of tea &amp\; cof
 fee. Please do bring your own lunch though.\n\nCost: £65 per person.\n\nB
