The group is run by volunteers.  Membership is made up of professional woods people, amateurs, hobbyists and people who are interested in learning more about coppicing and related woodland crafts and industries.  This includes people who cut and sell coppice products, charcoal burners, wood turners and carvers, hurdle and basket makers, wood turners and carvers.  We also have members whose main reason for joining is for fun, to spend time in the woodland and all the benefits that brings.  This lovely mix means there is something for everyone.  

We hold a monthly work party along with other social gatherings, which are great for meeting other members and catching up on what is going on over a cuppa.
