HEDGELAYING HAVE A GO TASTER DAYS

Have you ever wanted to have a go at the traditional country craft of Hedgelaying?

Dorset Coppice Group is running taster, on the 31st October You will learn the basics to cut and lay a hedge in the Dorset style using hand tools. Each course will have a maximum of 8 participants 2 trainers allowing you to have as much individual support as you need. Timings 9/9.30 until 4/4.30pm Billhooks can be provided, but if you have your own, billhook, loppers, hand saws, hand axe please bring along. No chainsaws (even if you have a licence), Due to H & S. (Instructor may use a chainsaw where required). We will try to do as much as we can with hand tools Please be aware you will be in a rural location with no toilet facilities. Tea/coffee provided. Wet weather gear, Strong gloves and work boots will be needed, along with lunch and drinks. Day course £65 per person.
