Courses

Dorset Coppice Group runs a series of courses each year on topics related to coppicing and coppice crafts.  These are open to both members & non-members alike, although members receive a 20% discount. The courses are run by experienced members who are skilled in the topic that they are teaching.  Details of upcoming courses can be found below.  Unless otherwise stated, all tools & materials will be provided along with refreshments.  Please bring your own packed lunch.

Charfest 2019

A celebration of sustainably produced British charcoal, demonstrating charcoal making techniques old and new.  The centrepiece will be a traditional ‘earthburn’.
