Coppicing is an ancient, yet still highly relevant and sustainable form of silvicultural management. Cutting down stems in the winter, protecting them from browsing animals and allowing them to grow on in the coming years. Perhaps the most sustainable of silvicultural practices and what we, at Dorset Coppice Group, are all about.
